Kanchan is a senior journalist, columnist, and blogger based in NCR. He has worked at The Telegraph, The Statesman, and The Pioneer. He has served as aide to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the PMO and later as Director of the India Centre in Cairo. At present, he does commentary for Republic TV and ABP TV. He is a free speech absolutist and has faced prosecution by the state for violating ‘reasonable restrictions’ on freedom of expression.
