Rakesh Reddy Dubbudu
Rakesh Dubbudu is a well-known transparency & Open Data Campaigner in India and also the founder of ‘FACTLY’, one of the better-known portals in ‘Public Information/Data Journalism’. He has been working on Right to Information (RTI)-related issues for the last 13 years. He is associated with the National Campaign for People’s Right to Information (NCPRI) & Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). Rakesh played a significant role in the launch of the ‘Open Data Policy’ by the Government of Telangana, the newest state in India. He is also visiting faculty at various administrative training institutes of the state and central governments. Rakesh has numerous awards and fellowships to his credit like the South & Central Asia Region Legislative Fellows Program of the US State Department, RTI Fellowship of Government of India, Distinguished Alumni award from his alma mater NIT Warangal.
