Rakesh Reddy Dubbudu

Rakesh is a well-known transparency and open data campaigner and also the founder of FACTLY, one of the better-known portals in ‘public information/data journalism’. He has been working on Right to Information (RTI)-related issues for the last 13 years and is associated with the National Campaign for People’s Right to Information (NCPRI) & Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR). Rakesh played a significant role in the launch of the ‘Open Data Policy’ by the Government of Telangana, the newest state in India. He is also visiting faculty at various administrative training institutes of the state and central governments. Rakesh has numerous awards and national and international fellowships to his credit.
