Shubhra Gupta is film critic and columnist with The Indian Express with a widely-read weekly review column for over 20 years. She has travelled extensively around the world to film festivals both as a reporter and jury member. She was a member of the Central Board of Film Certification during 2012-15. She is the curator for the Indian Express Film Club, a unique platform which connects award-winning cinema with film enthusiasts. Now in its third year, it has become a go-to event for film-lovers in Delhi and Mumbai. She received the Ramnath Goenka Award for the best writing on film in 2012. She is the author of 50 Films That Changed Bollywood, 1995-2015, published by HarperCollins.
