Rakesh Dubbudu is the founder of ‘FACTLY’, a well-known civic-tech, fact-checking, and public data initiative from India. FACTLY's work is primarily centred around the intersection of data/information consumption & technology. FACTLY has been at the forefront of developing cutting edge technology products relevant to the media & fact-checking ecosystem. 

Under Dubbudu‘s leadership, FACTLY has won numerous awards. Dubbudu also has many awards to his credit, including the Distinguished Alumnus Award from NIT Warangal, his alma mater, the youngest person to win such an award.
