Rama Lakshmi is editor (opinion and features) at The Print. She also looks after the books, history and longform writing and ground reporting sections.
Before joining as one of the founding members of The Print in 2017, she was the India correspondent of The Washington Post for 27 years. She won the prestigious ASNE award for her coverage of the 2004 tsunami.
A museum studies graduate, she worked with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the Missouri History Museum and the St. Louis Science Centre. She is the founder and curator of the Remember Bhopal Museum, which tells the story of the deadly Union Carbide gas leak.
