Who's the outsider?

Mainstream media has a problem with how it views Northeast India, often treating it as one entity. The states’ upheavals and differences tend to go unnoticed by the mainstream discourse. This panel, comprising journalists, policymakers and representatives from the Northeast, will explain these differences, why there needs to be a greater understanding, and the importance of identity politics.
